Ashish Kaul joined FBB in 2003. Previously, Mr. Kaul held
several research,
engineering and business development positions with Motorola's cellular
networks division. Mr. Kaul helped research and design the first
second-generation digital cellular networks in Asia, Australia, Europe and
the US. Subsequently he led several engineering and business projects for
the third-generation cellular networks.
Mr. Kaul received his BS in Electronics Engineering from Mangalore
University in India. Mr. Kaul earned his MS in Electrical Engineering from
Virginia Tech and has authored several technical journal and conference
publications in wireless technology. He also received the Student of the
Year award from the EE department. Mr. Kaul earned his MBA with distinction from
Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management where he graduated at
the top of his class.
Mr. Kaul serves as a director to a number of FBB portfolio companies.
