Investment Strategy
Since its inception, FBB invested the majority of its funds in mid and later stage companies across various industry segments including technology. FBB will continue this investment strategy focusing heavily on middle market buyouts and growth oriented venture opportunities. The character and quality of the portfolio will be guided by the following five elements of FBB's investment strategy:
1. Management. Partner with exceptional management teams that have the experience, vision and dedication to build outstanding companies.
2. Industry Focus and Stage of Development. Target middle market buyouts and emerging growth oriented companies in industries where FBB has significant knowledge, experience and proven investment success.
3. Geographic Focus. Focus on opportunities located in California with particular emphasis on the Southern California Region.
4. Active Lead Investor. Act primarily as a lead investor by finding and structuring new investment opportunities that meet the objectives of FBB.
5. Value Added Investor. Build successful companies by working with operating management, providing input in all areas of operations and taking an active role when special situations arise.
